Thermohygrograph

(Still at Hans Haacke)
15 Jun- 14 Sept 2013 | Bury Museum and Art Gallery UK
Celeste Art Prize 2014 | Rome IT

During the in situ intervention at the public portrait gallery of the Bury Museum and Art Gallery, the active device of a thermohygrograph was placed next to an already existing one in function. The two devices created a live portrait of the visitors outlining simultaneously the paradigmatic demonstration of the sublime qualities of depiction found in an art gallery and the modesty of the lively, spontaneous version of the human model.
